The Mini Camping Trailer Solution
Heat
The Old Way: If you have a tent trailer or RV, you are forced to sleep and cook in the same place which makes the heat twice as bad. When it is 90 degrees outside, the last place you want to be is inside a little camper cooking. That is why a lot of these tent trailers come with a stove that can be placed outside, but isn't that why you bought it, so you could get away from cooking on the picnic table?
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: Since the kitchen of the Mini Camping Trailer is outside, even on the hottest days you will not feel the heat of cooking and the top of the lid offers great shade to cook under.
Rain
The Old Way: If you do not have an RV or tent trailer, then rain can really wreck your camping trip. As soon as it starts to rain, you see all sorts of tarps and plastic sheets come out in different configurations so that people are able to cook outside.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: The lid of the Mini Camping Trailer is great protection from the rain, you can cook without any of the rain getting on the food, you can always eat the meal in a tent.
Raccoons/Wildlife
The Old Way: The raccoons that live near my house can get into almost anything. Coolers are no match at all for wildlife like raccoons, deer, bears and rodents. Nothing worse that getting back from a long hike only to find all of your food spread out across your campsite.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: Since the Mini Camping Trailer is made of wood and has locks, it is impossible for the wildlife to get into your food while you are away enjoying nature.
Security
The Old Way: Camping gear is getting more and more expensive, with camcorders, GPS, and fancy climbing or hiking gear, it is hard to keep it from getting stolen, tents and backpacks offer no protection from would-be thieves.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: The sides of the Mini Camping Trailer are lockable with either combination or key locks so your gear is secure while you are away, you can also lock the trailer to a nearby tree with some cable if you want the added security of no one being able to take the entire trailer.
Outhouses/Bathrooms
The Old Way: Don't get me started on this one. I have been so disgusted by some of the bathroom facilities found at campgrounds. We have all seen those outhouses that on a hot day can make a person sick. Then there are the bathrooms facilities that have proper toilets but they look like they haven't been cleaned since last spring. Then there is the waiting in line during the peak seasons. Enough!
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: The bathroom on the Mini Camping Trailer is surprisingly rooming, there is plenty of room for me, a 275 pound, 6' man, to move around. Port-A-Potti is great and clean. The curtain around the bathroom offers great privacy and since the curtain is tied shut from the inside there is no chance of being surprised while the bathroom is occupied.
Showers
The Old Way: I have just two words: Athlete's Foot! Hot showers at campgrounds are nice to have, but the fact that you share them with hundreds of other people can kind of gross you out. However, a lot of campgrounds that I have been to do not even have showers, and a couple of hot days camping can make that woodsy smell a little too bad, a shower changes from being a luxury to necessity.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: To take a shower with the Mini Camping Trailer, you just fill up a solar shower unit and set it on the lid of the bathroom side for a few hours. Remove the Port-A-Potti and there is a lot of room to take your shower. When you are done the shower, there is plenty of room in the bathroom to get dried off and get redressed. Ahh, nice and clean.
Wind
The Old Way: When you use a camp stove to cook your dinner on the picnic table, a little wind can make your meal take three times as long to cook, most of the heat from your stove is lost to the wind.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: With the kitchen of the Mini Camping Trailer being closed on three sides, the wind is not a problem. You wont be wasting your fuel on heating the wind instead of your food.
Gear/Storage
The Old Way: Kiss your roomy car good-bye. Your car or SUV is so packed with camping gear that the entire back of you vehicle is filled to the ceiling. And guess what is one the bottom? The cooler, so if you want to add that meat you just bought at the grocery store or make a quick sandwich when you are on the road, you can't unless you unpack the entire car to get to the cooler.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: With the Mini Camping Trailer you get your car back. Just pack all of your gear into the bathroom side of the trailer. If you need to get to the cooler, just open the kitchen side and there it is.
Cooking
The Old Way: When you cook fish or anything else inside a tent trailer or RV the smells get into everything. If you do not have a tent trailer or RV you are forced to cook on the picnic table at the campground, there is never room enough to set up a kitchen and have room to eat, so you have to do it in stages, first you cook, then you clear off the table then you eat, what a pain!
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: Cooking with the Mini Camping Trailer is great. There is a full size 2-Burner propane stove and a sink, and for more room the shelf from the bathroom side is removed after you unpack and that attaches to the outside of the trailer to add a huge area to use when cooking or doing dishes. Everything is right where you need it: sink, stove, cooler and counter space.
Eating on the Run
The Old Way: When you go on a five day camping trip, a lot of meals at fast food joints can be really expensive. But if you were to stop at a rest area to cook a little meal or make sandwiches, you have the problem of unpacking all the gear just to make a simple lunch. So instead you go for expensive fast food.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: If you get hungry while driving to your next campground, just pull into a rest area and make a great hot meal with the kitchen on the trailer. There is no need to unpack, because everything is right there. Just like a tailgate party.
Lights
Bring lots of batteries, or fuel. You will need flashlights when you walk the trail to the bathrooms or when cooking after dark.
The Mini Camping Trailer Way: The Mini Camping Trailer is wired with three lights, one in the kitchen, the bathroom and one outside above the external shelf, plenty of lights and they run off a long lasting rechageable deep cycle battery that is good for days of camping.
